Laura Trott (born 24 April 1992) is a British track cyclist who specialises in team pursuit and omnium disciplines. As of 2012, she is the reigning double European, World and Olympic champion, holding all three titles in both events. Trott was born a month prematurely in Harlow in Essex with a collapsed lung and was later diagnosed with asthma. She was recommended by doctors to take up sport to regulate her breathing.
